Benefits of wood apple

The most underappreciated fruit in India is the wood apple.

In Hindi, it is referred to as Bel and in Tamil, as vilaampazham.

During holidays like Ramanavami, Vinayakar Chaturthi, and Gokulashtami, this fruit is well-known. There is a delicate and spongy fruit pulp inside of a hard and woody outer shell. Numerous health advantages exist, some of which are listed here.

It will treat stomach issues.

  • enhances immunity
  • treats skin conditions
  • increase in metabolism

Adult hypotension and joint pain are also also treated with it.

Consuming wood Apple can be done in a variety of ways. However, I used to eat the fruit pulp after mixing it with jaggery. This fruit has a high iron content, therefore eating it this manner is healthful.
